Standards
for Passing
The Physical Ability Assessment
evaluates candidates in four
areas, muscular endurance, flexibility, absolute strength
and cardiovascular capacity, as measured by four physical
activities. The minimum scores for employment as a police officer are included. Please note that all municipal police departments are allowed to set their own physical ability assessment criteria for hiring police officers. View our list of
participating
departments to find the specific criteria for each municipality.
