The Future of Police Hiring
Recent
trends have shown that the number of qualified candidates for police positions is decreasing. This means that, if your department’s hiring has not already become a logistical and time consuming nightmare, it soon will. The national trend, coupled with a large number of baby-boom generation retirees in your department, can make the future of hiring appear to be overwhelming.
Now there is a service that can support your department through the hiring process. From
posting positions online to
providing Physical Ability Assessments for your candidates, PoliceApp.com
and the staff of C.H.I.P., can revolutionize how you hire new staff.
How It Works
Use PoliceApp
as a vehicle for communicating and managing your entire
recruitment and selection process. PoliceApp.com provides a
central location for potential police applicants, providing them with
the most up-to-date job openings. Interested candidates come to our site for the latest in hiring information.
Candidates can complete an online application and submit it
directly to your department. Participating departments
have a vast array of tools that allows them to streamline
their recruitment and selection process. Candidate
communication, scheduling, scoring/ranking, reporting are
all contained within this one system.
Complete Health & Injury
Prevention. (C.H.I.P.), provides Physical Ability Assessment service in the state of
Connecticut for over 60 CT. Police Agencies. C.H.I.P. encourages municipalities to affiliate themselves with C.H.I.P.’s testing services. When a candidate has successfully completed the Physical Ability Assessment with C.H.I.P., they receive a
C.H.I.P. card, valid for six months and accepted by all participating C.H.I.P. municipalities in lieu of performing their own assessment test. By affiliating your municipality with C.H.I.P., candidates can apply to your department without having to complete the testing again, a savings to the candidate and a benefit to your department. |
